Sympathy for Messi over Barca departure
Puig discusses Messi's departure from Argentina. He signed for Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 after 17 years with Barca. " He'd been with the club since he turned 14," he stated.
"Those teams pay you twice, but ..."
Puig also revealed that he had previously been offered by Premier League side Chelsea and Serie A side AC Milan. However, he chose to remain in Barcelona because of his fear of homeickness. " While it's all great there, those teams pay you twice as much, but in the end, you're all over there all by your own," said the Barca youth product.
